I’m travelling from Baltimore, MD and will be drumming with Burke Lemons on Caw as the guest or 2nd drum. I’ve never attended, danced, or drummed at your powwow before but have very nice things about it. I look forward to meeting some new folks and renewing some old friendships and singing strong for the Ancestors. I also hope to get to see the paintings/messages on the mountain. Although my primary (Maternal) ancestry is Skaru:re (Tuscarora/Machapunga) and Algonquin Coastal (Hatterask) I have Tsalagi (Cherokee) Ancestry paternally. And I’m sure that the carvings/drawings were either done by SW Va. Tsalagi or certainly viewed by them long ago. Dohiyada, Gray Michael Parsons, Tawodi.
